Highlighting entities showing me blue handles and dotted lines

Just got V10 loaded onto the new Win system 7 workstation at work.  Forever, when I've picked an entity (to do anything with it)....the box and dashed lines that encircle the entity were ALWAYS GREEN, or GREY (when protected).  NOW, I select any entity on a vsd and it turns blue,,,and I cannot move things or edit things like I have been doing for many years....FRUSTRATED...cannot change this or turn if off.   HELP  !!!!!!!

Sorry about the blue outline and handle points of the shapes. That's the new color everything is in. Can't be changed, but the functionality should be the same as ever. Perhaps you can tell, what problems you have exactly.

What I find most annoying is that you can't see connection points any longer. Only when you come near them withh a connector will they be visible.
