I have a drawing and stencils that I made. It is a floor plan with outlets for a network. I am not able to link multiple rows from a data source to a single shape. In otherwords if I had an outlet in a office and it has 2 cables in it, I want to be able to drag the row of data to the shape and then the shape display the label. Then take another row and drag it to the same shape and it show both labels. Along with I keep messing up the labels that I do have as they show up so far from the shape, I have found a way to get them closer but when I spin the shape the label ends up turned based on the shape. This makes it confusing to view the drawing. I have very little knowledge of the vb side and trying to learn more so any baby steps on the issue would be helpful to get me going in the proper direction.

Thank you for any help.

You can counter the rotation of the labels with formulas in the TextTransform(?)-Section of the shapesheet. There are formulas to find on the net or in books that even cope with mirrored shapes.

Well I found the solution I would like to use but it is not working. Its on this sites web page http://www.visguy.com/2009/05/06/top-twelve-text-tips/#comment-40983. It is older information and I noticed I put this in the wrong category as I am running 2007.

I have a shape that I want to use the shape sheet of. I want to change the shape it uses as it does do everything I need and I figured out how to make it do what I want. Is there any way to copy shape sheet to another but using a different shape?

The ShapeSheet baically "is" the shape so you can't do that. But you can copy the interesting parts of the ShapeSheet to the ShapeSheet of your shape. I think Paul Herber has a tool for that:
