Why is LockSelect not working?

I have a group of images in one shape.
The group LockSelect = 0
The parts of the groups's LockSelect = 1
But I can still select the parts.
Does the parts inherit from the group or something?

Visio is soooo esoteric
Had to tweak the Group Behavior

Well, at times, yes.

all the locks do NOT inherit from above.....so if you want to lock group, child, grandchild shapes....got to do each individually or set the group behavior up to group only
