I did each one individually, placed with loving care at coordinates calculated by hand.

Done programatically, my SDL/UML/TTCN applications each use an outer frame on each page for making connections to the outside world. There a menu to execute code to create connection points, 500 per side, repeat, get 500 more per side. I have customers that want very long sequence charts, many pages.

4000 Connection points indeed! But they seem to be intelligently spaced, and not mindlessly stacked on top of each other in the fascinating pile of goo that I was hoping for.

Btw, the attachment problem should be fixed now.
