Exporting of Images to CAD format
« on: April 16, 2012, 04:31:25 AM »
Hi all,

Anyone know a way of doing/workaround for the following...?

I have a Visio 2007 .vsd file which has an image included (this could be a .png, .jpg, .bmp, .tif, etc).
When I do a Save As AutoCad .dwg format, and open the file in AutoCad 2008LT, it loses the image file.

Anyone know how to make sure it keeps its position and stays in the AutoCad exported file, Im not too worried about how it does this or even if the image file becomes a seperate file and is linked as an Xref or OLE Object, or anything... ;-)

Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
