Visio 2010 very slow to save and copy/paste

Hi Guys
Any ideas, I have recently changed to Visio2010 from 2007 and find it takes an age to save a drawing, or copy and paste into another Office application, recently it has shown as not responding and the screen greys out, for a couple of minutes.
I am running it on an i5 with 8GB RAM, hence should be no problems with memory etc.
It really is becomiing a pain, any ideas would be very welcome.
