where are all the shapes??

hi,

i have installed 2007 on my pc at home, same software and so on same pc system windows 2007 but for one or other reason i cant find all the shapes, i installed everything as should be, but looks like im missing something.
i have about 6 different basic shapes and the rest i cant find nowhere.
i have the map with favourite shapes and that i copied to my documents file favourite shapes ,but i can find no other map with shapes in the whole of the pc  any one tell me where the shapes should be in the computer?

nope doesent show anything, i have also tried again new installation but still nothing more than 6 basic shape templates, (walls/basic structures), drawing shapes,symbols, and so on.

Did you do a default install, or did you have the shapes put in a non-standard directory?  If that's the case, then you have to tell Visio where to look for them.  You do that by  Menu bar > Tools > Options > Advanced Tab.  Click the File Paths... button at the bottom left.  In the popup menu, enter the desired paths for shapes and stencils.

If that still fails, then perhaps a direct chat with Microsoft is in order.

Templates? Do you mean the templates or the stencils? These are different things in Visio.
