Tracking Changes

I would love to hear some tips for tracking changes in Visio. Our current method involves trusting users to mark/note what they've changed and that's not working. I've heard that the Track Changes features in Visio is buggy and doesn't work well either so we're desperate for alternatives!

Something I've tried that works to a certain extent is to save all documents in XML format, a good diff program will find the differences for you. You can set the default save format to XML in the options.
