All pages have 1/4" grey border

One of my Visio documents displays a light grey border on every page, including new pages. I cannot figure out where it is coming from and how to get rid of it. I cannot select the border.

I often put just such a border on a background page to remind me where the printer's non-printing area is, but this document has no background page and all of the foreground pages have background=None.

There are also no layers defined.

Curiously, the border is visible on Print Preview, but does not actually print.

Please help before I go crazy (ier).
