Page Numbers

Hello Visio Guy,

Quick and easy question.  I there a way to set the header / footer so that no page numbers show up on the first title page or is there an alternative page numbers function in Visio (other than just going through and adding text boxes) that would allow me to choose which pages should not have page numbers?

According to the help on headers, you can use a background page.  Place a box where you'd like the page numbers to be, and then go to menu bar > Insert > Field > Page Info.  Assign the background page to whichever pages you want to have page numbers indicated.  A caution.  This function will number all of the pages in your drawing, so you must have them in the order you want numbered, except for the un-numbered pages, which you might want last, so that your page numbers begin at "1" instead of "2".
