Create Tree from file

Hello everyone.  I am trying to created a connectivity tree (basically a flow diagram showing what is supplying data to what) for a very large system.  I've written some code to do all the connectivity analysis and now I would like to be able to import the output of that program (xml or anything else I want to write) into visio so that I have a very easy to read schematic that people can see.  Any ideas on how to do this?  Thanks.
