Automatically layout shapes in rooms (based on room number)

I have an Excel spreadsheet containing a large number of computers with various columns for Network Name, IP, Operating System,... one of them is Room (room number).

Would it be possible for Visio to use that spreadsheet and automatically layout all those machines in the correct room. I assume a layout of the building must first be created and rooms need to be named somehow.

I'd appreciate very verbose instructions how this could be done, since I'm very, very new to Visio.
