Linking an excel spreed sheet questions and answers to turn on and off layers in

Hey,

I am engineering a drawing for a DDC controller that can have multiple inputs. I have created my drawing and have seperate layers for each on the types of inputs. Is there a way to link the drawing with an excell spread sheet that can turn ON of Off the different layers to show only the inputs desired?
