Shape data in report shows as "0"

Please help.

Working with Visio 2007.

I have a shape with some shape data with default values.
When included in a report, the shape data shows as "0" (not the real data value).

If I change the shape data to something other than the default, all is OK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
