New Forum Section for Commercial Messages
« on: August 14, 2008, 07:42:21 AM »
Would it be possible to add a section where we can post commercial messages regarding Visio? I'm looking for people willing to translate my Visio stencils into other languages and earn on a commission basis. It would be useful to have somewhere to post messages like this.

Do you mean a job board like http://authenticjobs.com/ or a directory of professionals like http://expressionengine.com/professionals/browse/alpha?

Something like either of these could mean additional income for VisioGuy and maybe eliminate some some of the inline advertising.

Well, sort of, though the first of those can't even get a simple website like that to display properly in Firefox ! No search facility either.
I was think more along the lines of just a section here where people can request small Visio jobs to be done, the above websites are for permanent and contract positions.

I have no problem at all with the Google ads anyway, I especially like the one advertising "Free Visio Templates", I had to click on that to find out what they have, nothing to do with Visio of course but I bet it's earned VisioGuy a few click payments.

Hi guys,

I'll think about adding some sort of "classified adverts" board to the forum...

I'm still looking for people who are interested in doing this, no time wasters please, it would help if you have some knowledge of electronics/electricals and/or software engineering.

How much time would be involved, what languages do you need etc.

As for me:
I could translate it into Dutch if you'd like, I almost have my degree in mechanical engineering (specialized in technical automation and mechatronics). I'd be happy to lend a hand.
