Hey guys,

i tried to find the solution, but haven't been successful, through forums nor playing around with the functios. So heres the problem:

When i open Visio 2007 and open a file, i load the stencils manually (file>stencils>etc) and they appear. I safe my work, close it, and reopen it, and all the stencils that i had open disappeared.. i have to RE-ADD them.

How do i fix this so that once i open the file, the stencils stay? I know that with other versions (2010) the stencil stays.

Thanks

Before you save, go to File > Properties.  The pop-up form should have an entry in lower left corner:  Save Workspace.  Make sure that it's checked.  Then do save or save as.

Not sure how relevant this answer is, but it might help to make sure the file paths in Visio are set to the same location as where you're saving your stencils.

Tools > Options > Advanced > File Paths...

I also use a template (.vst) for making new drawings which always opens the stencils that were open when I last saved the file.
