change shapes programatically?

Is it possible to tranform the shapes in a drawing from one set of masters to another?

The scenario is that I have an initial conceptual drawing that has shapes that look hand drawn. At some point I would like to convert this drawing to a polished finished product such that the shapes no longer have that handdrawn look.
