As Visual Studio is often used for creating Visio addons how about adding a section where we can discuss VS?

There is also a variety of ways Visual Studio can be used to create a Visio app, so a section just for development would be useful.
For example, do you use VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) to create Visio apps. Is VSTO still relevant. How do you handle stencils?
Are there snippets for Visio?
