How to Create Advanced Shape Properties

Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to get started creating advanced shape properties?

I've downloaded various stencils/shapes where you can right-click the shape, click a Properties option, and get a dialog box with way more/advanced properties than I've been able to create using the "Define Shape Data" dialog box.

The shapes you mentioned come most certainly together with an AddOn or AddIn. Part of such an AddIn often is a special form as user interface and a place/way to store the informations somewhere (not in the ShapeSheet, not in the Shape Data / -Proerties.
(For example take the UML-Shapes).

To create sth. similiar for yourself you can at first use VBA, where you can create your own forms, too. But you still need to store the information somewhere in shape.

For everything more advanced you'll have to create your own AddIns or let one of the professionals here do it for you.
