Can I replace dashes in a line with arrowheads?

I'd like to be able to specify a broken (dashed) line pattern but with arrowheads (or at least ">" characters) in place of the dashes.

Something like --> --> --> --> would be ideal, but I could live with -> -> -> or even > > > >.

You can do it by defining your own custom line pattern.  It can look like any of the patterns you show as samples.  Check out my reply to this post:  http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=2506.msg10960#msg10960.  It has links to excellent resources on this topic.

Additionally, there are a lot of post regarding custom line patterns on this site, but, I would check out the links mentioned in the post above.
