Hello,

The cubicle shape in Visio 2010 is ready to use group of shapes.
When I'm trying to get Master for a subshape of Cubicle, it returnes the Cubicle itself.
How can I get the real Master for subshape in Cubicle?
I mean that if subshape is Chair I need to get UniqueId of Chair Master, which the chair subshape was created from.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your quick answer.

But in the case of Cubicles a subshape is Chair, which has master Chair in stencil.
Is there a universal way to identify that the subshape Chair is created from stencil Chair?

The shape might be called Chair but it is not the same as the Chair shape, as it happens the chair within the grouped shape is more like the Desk Chair shape.
Actually, I've just done a shape comparison and, yes, it is the same as the Desk Chair shape. This is from looking at the internals of the group, but, there is no way to link the shape within the cubicle to the Desk Chair shape.

This is very weird, because I'm easily getting subshape masters after manual creation of Cubicle group.
Ok, thanks guys, I will try to find a way to identify them somehow...
