Blurred images

On another Visio forum there is a topic about inserted images being blurred in Visio 2010. I've done some tests using Visio 2003/2007 and 2010 and here are the results:
Here is a segment of a screendump of the original file ( a PNG image) and the image as inserted in Visio 2003 ...

and here are the images as inserted in Visio 2007 and 2010. All screen dumps were taken with the same software. As you can see, Visio 2007 and Visio 2010 blur the image quite badly.

Maybe you should drink de-caffinated beverages before you insert the pictures!   :D

Same problem here.  It's rather annoying too, because I'm working with a ton of graphics.

My workaround is to import them in a higher resolution and then scale them down to counter-act the blurriness.   Works, but it ain't pretty (and not possible if you can't get a higher resolution image)
