Template for application relationship diagram

I always have the worst time deciding what shapes I am supposed to use for what purpose in Visio.

Can someone tell me what template or shape set I am supposed to use when I am diagramming relationships between applications?

If there is a standard (like UML is for defining relationships in an OOP setting) then pointing me to the correct standard is fine, I don't mind doing the research on my own.

Hmm. I dunno. Maybe try Googling "relationships between applications", and click on "Images". You can start with a diagram that looks promising, and see if you can learn what methods the people are using when you jump to the website that has the image you're interested in.
