I was wondering if anyone had any tips on navigating a huge visio. It has ~ 130 nodes and 300 connectors.

I can try to break it out, but that is not what I am hoping to.

Can I somehow in visio follow a connector to the next node that it is connected to? That would help navigate as some of the connections are off the current view and it is very hard to navigate/follow all the connections.

Don't think there is a built-in feature for it.
Maybe someone else has a nice solution...

You could write some code to tell you what shapes are connected to the selected line...
Maybe the pan & zoom window can help out... it can show where you are withing a drawing at all times...

Hi perkna,

I've written code like this many times, but I don't have anything that you could readily use. There are plenty of code samples for tracing connections, but I'm not sure if you want to deal with code.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are utilities out there that would help with this.
