I have a Visio book with about 20+ different tabs and I have linked an excel sheet with data to it because  I have applied some of the data to some of the shapes.  However, everytime I click 'Refresh Data', I get a pop-up that says "Visio has experienced problems and needs to close." which also asks to send an Error Report to Microsoft office (which I have done).  This has happened to me every single time I try to refresh the data.  I created a 'testing' visio file, which was essentially blank, and attached the same excel file with data...and the refreshing worked.  So I am not sure why Visio crashes everytime I want to refresh the linked data...any thoughts?? Thanks!

anyway you can rebuild your book step by step and identify any problem shape?
