As for W2010 the search and replace dialog is still as powerfull as it used to be.
ctrl-H (german version?) for the dialog.
Replace all ^p^p by ^p.
Repeat as often as necessary, if your text has also 2, 3, 4,... empty lines.
If ^p does not work, try one of the other special keys ...
by the way, thanks for info about the snagit text function. I would probably have used some OCR software and spent a lot more time correcting the texts. Cool
