When linking data to shapes is there an additional way to filter the data?

I would like to create a template that compares a particular value in a field to determine the selection.

I'm not sure of the can be done by inserting a PROMPT into the SQL view (because I'm also new to this) but ideally I was hoping there was some way within Visio 2007 Professional to achieve this.
