Visio Guy

I have a program where in i drop the shapes on to the  visio drawing control. Now i need to show some visual effect (such as highlight or color change or changing the line style or something similar) on the shape when i have performed a particular action ,say add a text to the shape.How can i do this?

You're only limited by your imagination. Have you considered data graphics (check David Parker's book for examples and code).
