Title: How to remove background in a field
Post by: Jennifer on January 20, 2022, 09:08:43 AM
The image below includes an arrow with a field displaying the length. I would like to remove the white background leaving just the text. In a previous version of Visio, I thought I could right-click and get an option to remove background. That is not working now.

Can someone show me how to make the image on the left look like the one on the right, which I cobbled together for illustration purposes?

Thanks

Select your connector, then
ribbon Home -> Font, click the small arrow which selects the Text format dialog
select the Text Block tab, then set your Text Background.

Perfect. Thanks.

Didn't that used to be available by right-clicking?
