Title: Auto-updates between diagrams
Post by: ewaw on January 22, 2021, 11:29:39 AM
Hello

I am working on a visio diagram. I have one document with three sheets. I would like to be able to edit a shape (move it / delete it/ add a new shape) on one diagram and have the other two pages updated automatically.

Can this be achieved?  I;m using visio pro.

Many thanks in advance.

E

Hi, ewaw !

you can create document with 2 foreground pages (sheets) and one background page (where you can place shapes which you need move it / delete it/ add a new shape)

Thank you for the reply.

I've tried the layers and background options however, we never know what part of the diagram ('step plan' across different sheets) will need to be updated/edited.

The whole diagram and its sections on subsequent pages needs to be editable...

Try use document stencil, like as in this suggestion
