I'm scouring the internet but looking for a definitive answer.
Is it possible to migrate an existing Visio VSTO addin to a Office Add-in? Is it even possible to create a Visio Office Addin?
There is list in the following links that exclude Visio from this list but that's is often the case. I wanted to reach out and try to find out if this is accurate and understood by the experts.

Much of how an addin works for Visio is different from other Office addins, even ribbon interaction is very different.

No, it is not possible.

No, "Visio Office Addin" (means, javascript add-in) does not exist. Visio Online application does not support any extensions, as for now.
