Hi guys,
I am running Visio 2019 and we use Visio to draw simple electrical diagrams. My aim is to have a drawing and the have part A of the current flow flashing in Blue for example and the the flow of current of B in Red. Is this even possible?
I had a quick look at this topic http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=6615.0 (http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=6615.0) but I am no code expert and have no idea where to even start?
If this is possible, your help will be greatly appreciated!

Changing a line color or even blinking a line is far easier than some sort of bounce ball flowing thru the network.
The big problem is to pass some state ("1" or "0") through arbitrary network topology
(Visio shapes cant discover each other without VBA).
propagating this state thru the network is not simple for arbitrary networks.
Hi Vojo,
So something like I am looking for will not be possible for a newbie like me right? I mean I am not familiar at all with VBA.
my opinion...it would be challenging. maybe others have a different way so maybe wait a day or 2 before deciding
Woutie:
Yes, it's possible; I built one of those several years ago. It's here on the forum at http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=6969.msg29130#msg29130 (http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=6969.msg29130#msg29130). Vojo is correct; it was challenging. And you are correct too: it's likely not possible for a newbie to build it. Did you ever consider taking a VBA course? ;- )

Hey Ken,
Man I love what you have done, but you are also correct in saying its very complicated!
Looks good though - I am jealous!
