Title: Custom connector consisting of two straight lines
Post by: Visisthebest on March 28, 2020, 07:13:21 PM
Is it possible in Visio to create a 1D shape/connector that consists of two straight lines that are connected? See example attached.

The connector only needs to be able to connect/glue to a 2D shape connection point at the ends of the lines (BeginX/EndX).

The Visio connector provides a lot of options with the curved connector so I hope something simple as two straight line segments is also possible. Thank you for your help!

sure (see attached)

June the 2nd did most of the pioneering work around isometric connectors
2d parallel connectors can be made in a similar fashion

This has been on the www.visguy.com website since 2007:

Thank you vojo and VisioGuy, these connectors can do even more than I was looking for! :)

The oblique connectors haven't even thought of but see other uses for these as well.

Thank you for your help!

Going to check out curved connectors and NURBS as well, but first see what I can figure out on my own  :)
