Title: Space between text callouts
Post by: Roxy78 on January 31, 2020, 09:12:47 PM
Hi,

I am trying to reduce the space between multiple text callout lines in a data graphic, for days now...

Is there a way to do this???

I tried to create my own text callouts, but then I have big spaces between the lines, although I set the heigth to 5mm.
Then I made a copy of the standard text callout, changed some things, like font size, weight, but the space ist still to big for me.
The ShapeSheet is too cryptic...

Would be nice if someone had some hints.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Nicole

You can control this via Paragraph spacing.

Select your text shape.
Then, on the Home tab, select the dropdown menu from either Font or Paragaph sections.  This will bring up the Text window.  Select the Paragraph tab.  The entries of interest are for Spacing, the bottom section of the window.  With the text shape selected, these are global settings.

Use the text tool to select a charaacter in a desired line, and the settings will apply to that line, spacing before, or after, or the entire line.
