Title: How to Draw shapes without geometry in shapesheet
Post by: henry on July 11, 2019, 04:28:09 AM

As the following the article about Microsoft 3D Geometry

http://www.visguy.com/2010/01/28/see-new-perspectives-with-3d-geometry-shapes/

any one know how those shape are made?  even no geometry section in shapesheet.  didn't figure out where is the command or equations  drawing those line.

Thanks

Such shapes are made as groups. Formulas are in group members. Use the Drawing Explorer to view the contents of the shapes.

note...all the children / children of children / etc (lowest level of shapes in the group) have geometry sections in their shapesheet.
All group or containers do is to help organize / modularize / simplify  the shape
(move around bunch of shapes with key relations, set things like color at a global scale, central shape data to control group, etc).
