Title: PDF to Visio
Post by: jeepguy on November 07, 2018, 08:29:38 PM
OK, so I am completely new to Visio so please excuse my ignorance. I have a PDF sent to me by a consultant a couple of years ago. Is there a way to import it into Visio and make the objects modifiable? Every time I try it just imports as a picture, and do be honest I really don't want to have to recreate this entire document from scratch. It's got some shapes that I want to recreate on the new document, but I can't fine them in the standard shapes that come with Visio.

There is a new Visio add-in called Insert PDF in Visio. It installs on the ribbon toolbar on the "Insert" menu. Click to select PDF file, select a few options and open. The PDF file will be on-screen ready to be ungrouped and edited. For more info:
