Title: Lock Shape
Post by: PiP on July 17, 2018, 01:23:57 PM
I've made a simple shape - an electrical symbol for a circuit breaker.  Consist of a number of lines which I have grouped together.  Issue arises is that when the shape is connected to another similar shape (e.g. a copy the same shape), the line items within the group move when either shape is moved.

I've 'fixed' by making each line item in the group with LockMovex / Y and LockBegin / End, but it's a pretty slow process and I'm not convinced is fool proof.

Is there an easier / better way to stop the items within a group from moving regardless of what is connected to them?

Uncheck the option "snap to member shapes" in the dialog "group behaviour".
