Title: How to assign solid line to group rectangle?[SOLVED]

I grouped several shapes and want to see group outline rectangle contour. How to do this?

By default group shape haven't  Geometry section!

I compared two files of properties for group and rectangle shape and missed this difference.

It is possible...you have to create another shape.

Select your rectangles and duplicate.  Then use shape operation union.  Format the new shape...no fill, line weight, etc.   Place this shape on top of the original rectangles and then add those rectangles to the selection.  Once all desired shapes are selected, group.

Sorry, for me it`s better to just add geometry section to group shapesheet with four lines.

Hmmm.  That doesn't work properly in V2007.  Seems to work if more line segments added...must be a line segment for each rectangle edge on the the border.  Time wise, it was faster, less error prone to use the method suggested.  But, both can be made to work.
