Hi all. I have been searching for a while on this forum and elsewhere and could not find my specific issue mentioned. This should be pretty simple but .... Visio Pro 2013 I have gone into timeline shape and set the misc:hidetext to true. Nothing happens. Any ideas?

May be your shape is group shape ? And have shape with text into group
