Title: Multiple connections to one connector
Post by: PeteG on February 20, 2018, 04:58:01 PM
Hi. On an electrical wiring diagram I want to show multiple lines connecting to one connector, as you would when you have several wires going to the same terminal.

I'd like to have each wire drawn orthagonally until it gets within range of the connector, then have it come in at an angle, so the resulting collection of connections come in a bit like spokes. However I can't work out how to do this, or if it's even possible. I can't select just the last part of the connection line and change it to "Straight Connector" as that transforms the whole line.

I am using Visio 2016 if that helps.

Thanks.

A sketch of what you're after might be helpful...

Draw a straight connector between your two connection points.  Then, with the connector still selected, press <CNTL> and left mouse to grab center inflection point of connector.  Drag to where you want the corner.  Release mouse, release <CNTL> in that order.

BTW, thank you for letting us know which version of Visio.
