Title: Adding Arrows to multi-tree square in Visio 2013 & 2016 not working
Post by: doudou on July 18, 2017, 05:47:33 PM
Hello,

I have been scratching my head over this for a while, but I cant seem to add arrows to a multi-tree square. Under "Shape Styles" >> "Lines" everything else works (Weight, Dashes, Colors) but nothing happens under Arrows. Any idea?

Thanks!

I don't have either of these versions, not familiar with the shape...

The shape is hard coded t o give 6 max.  To get more, the typical work-around is to overlay a 2nd shape.  You could create a custom version for more, but it would take extensive shapesheet editing.

Perhaps this article will help...

The shapesheet for the Multi-tree Square protects the ends of the lines.  You could alter the shapesheet and save it as a separate (new) shape in the stencil, or just attach a Single Arrowhead shape from the same Block Diagram stencil, as shown below...
