Used similar method, but without any Flows...
just saved Visio file to one drive, that was good enough for me to view it on Android :)

Do you really think this "Flow" thing is any good?
To be honest, to me it looks more like a useless toy from M$ marketing department :)

I'm not smart enough about all the online stuff to have a really good opinion of Flow.

The problem I was having was getting the attachment from my phone's e-mail to somewhere that I could view it from. I don't know how easy it is to save the attachment from Android Outlook directly to OneDrive. If it is easier than forwarding to myself, then going to a bookmarked web page, then that would be wonderful.

Right now, the only option I have for attachments is "download". Perhaps you can configure OneDrive as some sort of downloadable target/device for your phone?

My guess is that your "Server Abilities" are much greater than most users. Even a techie like myself just doesn't know much about what's going on up in the cloud, so something like Flow let's me stitch parts together like playing with Lego. And even then, I thought the Flow template I used was rather difficult to understand. The fields I had to fill out had really arcane names; I wasn't exactly sure what they were asking for some of the time.

Another problem I have with OneDrive is that the two accounts I use are NOT "pro", so I'm not sure they would open files in Visio Online anyway. I'd have to start saving everything in my "MSDN" OneDrive, which I don't use for anything but testing. What a mess!

I also don't have much of experience with Flow, just an impression.

I.e. just played around to look at the thing.
So my opinion is just based on reading couple of articles and playing around for quite a short time.

To me, it looked like an attempt to bring workflows to the Office 365 users ...
Did not quite fly with SharePoint, did not fly with Windows Workflow Foundation, now again they try with Flow. :)
To me, it looked too slow, too complex, and why mobile, on the earth?! They probably could not decide what they are actually creating -
a new workflow engine, or a mobile app builder? :)

Haha, good points!

I haven't been watching the online stuff very closely, so I didn't think about all the stuff you just mentioned. But now that Visio for O365 is getting all the good features, I HAVE to learn. It all makes my head hurt. :)

So "Flow" is just short for "Didn't Fly" or something, haha.
