Title: Visio 2013 hyperlinks w/Shape Names don't work when saved in pdf- workaround?

Hello All,  I just went from Visio Pro 2010 to Pro 2013 and came to realize that if I am creating a pdf, my link with Shape Names no longer work. The links in pdf only work if the link is not referenced to a Shape Name. Any work around?

Clonker:

I've saved a lot of heavily-hyperlinked Visio diagrams as PDFs, and the only hyperlink I ever got to work was from page to page.  I just tried adding the shape name, and it does indeed disable the hyperlink in the PDF (using Visio Professional 2013).  No idea why.  I'll have to add this to the list of things that don't work (http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=7714.0) when you go to a PDF.

As for a workaround, the only thing I could suggest (and it's a bad suggestion) is to remove the shape name from your hyperlinks.  I'll be voting No on your poll.

Good luckā€”and it appears you'll need it!

Thanks Ken!

What bothers me is that it worked with Visio Pro 2010.
If I would have known, I would have never upgraded.

Thanks Again,
C
