Title: Groups of Containers (Lists) grouped in a Stencil
Post by: dorphalsig on March 13, 2017, 11:36:12 PM
Hello everybody!

My question today is regarding how to make containers (lists) work under groups. My setup is pretty simple: In Visio 2010, I have four containers linked top to bottom (so that when one grows, the others get pushed down), and saved them as a Master in a stencil, however when I drag them to a page they are boiled down to plain old shapes within a group and they are not seen as containers.  Any idea how to 'keep alive' the containers?  I took a look at the swimlanes stencil, but I think i'm too dense to understand what's going on in there (I tried to play around with it, but didn't get anything of use out of it).

You may need to attach a copy of it to a post. You will get better help. I have learned that over the past few weeks.
