Title: Making custom fill patterns available
Post by: dtallent on March 10, 2017, 01:51:32 PM
I draw a lot of blueprints for work. I know how to make a custom fill pattern but my question is how do I make that fill pattern available to all of my drawings. For instance, I made a fill pattern for concrete while I was in one drawing. I opened up a new drawing and now I want to use the concrete pattern but it is not there.

Hope that short video can help How create custom fill pattern.

But that pattern availible only in single document ! You can add that pattern in stencil, if you open stencil in common with other documents. That pattern will availible there too

I advice to you add your custom fill pattern to stencil. Just open this stencil with some documents https://youtu.be/feLCPsu4ITU (https://youtu.be/feLCPsu4ITU)

That I have already done. I have done it before and added shingles to a fill pattern and I can use this pattern on any of my drawings, but I can not remember for the life of me how I did it.
