I have been trying to figure this out all day today and I am beyond irritated right now. I am inserting a CAD floor plan that I have been sent by an engineer. I get the CAD drawing to fit to my Visio page and then I right clock on the drawing and select to convert the drawing. I have been selecting one layer at a time all day to convert and it is taking absolutely forever to do this. When I get to the layer that has all of the furniture that is in the individual rooms Visio was freezing up on me. I thought this could be because of the size of the layer so I went into CAD, went room by room and made two new layers for each room, one layer for tables and one layer for chairs and misc furniture. Then I repeated the process by inserting the drawing. When I went to convert the first layer for my first room it was the same results, took absolutely forever to convert.
Has anyone ever had this issue or know a work around for it? Thanks in advance.
