Title: EMF to Powerpoint question/issue
Post by: 149113 on April 06, 2016, 05:59:36 AM
When using the copying Visio objects to Powerpoint using the paste special (Enhanced Metafile) feature we are noticing that in some instances the fonts are coming over very differently than they were formatted in Visio. They seem to take on a poorly spaced Arial font look. The problem however is inconsistent as some EMF's come over with no issues at all. I always thought the EMF format was agnostic to fonts and such and should always come over exactly as it was formatted in the source application. Is this a bug or known issue?

Tried to replicate, but couldn't find a problem. ("inconsistent problem").
Have you asked Google?

This seems to be a known issue with EMF in Visio 2013. See here:

The problem described in the link is exactly what we are seeing. We are using Visio 2010 and PowerPoint 2016 (365). I'll need to redact some of the content and post the EMF here as a PNG so you can see what we are seeing.
