Feeling a bit sheepish on this one because it seems it should be easy... but here I am.
I have a series of shapes (using brainstorm template in MS Visio 2016) that are I'm trying to connect showing their "many-to-many" relationship. However, as I add connectors going "backward" to previous shapes, instead of adding the connector it replaces the connector that was previously there. Any thoughts on how to add multiple connectors going multiple directions to the same series of shapes?

You may use the connector called association and format it to you needs (only one arrow head and change the line style).
