Title: Blank Stencil or Template Folders
Post by: assyrian47 on January 30, 2009, 08:24:08 PM
There must be a secret in loading templates and stencil in your My Shapes folder

I loaded a folder that contained 25 sub folders, each sub folder contains one (1) stencil

After placing the master folder in the My SHapes folder I started up V2003 to look at
the stencils.  When I try to select one of the last 8 sub folders, A gray block appears
where one would expect the name of the stencil.

I get the impression that visio organizes or reads  the My Shape directory after you restart
the application.

Any ideas.

TIA

I've just done as you've said, no problem at all, all the stencils are visible immediately.
