Title: Multiple colors in shape
Post by: trepi02 on June 29, 2015, 03:34:13 PM
I am trying to use multiple colors in a shape but I do not want to use the color by value property because if my shape is linked with two different rows I want to be able to use two colors for the shape and if is linked with three rows I want to use three colors for the shape, and so on. Is there a way to do this, either programming or using the UI?

Thanks

Hello,

I am not if I got you right. One possible solution would be using sub shapes, one for each colour. I am not sure whether your needs can be satisfied by using the gradient logic of Visio 2013. Maybe it does but I am not familiar with that.

I tried to use the gadrients but I can only add 10 colors and probably I will need more than that. I will try the sub shapes and see how it goes... thanks!
